“Ahtisa Manalo Shines at Miss Cosmo: From Pageant Star to Business Powerhouse”
Today, let’s take a moment to appreciate Ahtisa Manalo at Miss Cosmo. I’ve been observing the posts by Ahtisa and the official Miss Cosmo Instagram page, and it’s clear that Ahtisa is giving her absolute best. All her outfits are on point. A few months ago, many people were saying that Miss Cosmo was a downgrade in terms of titles, but as the pageant is progressing, it’s evident that Miss Cosmo has leveled up. Day by day, more and more pageant fans are becoming interested.
So, what exactly is Miss Cosmo?
Miss Cosmo currently holds 60 licenses, so it’s considered huge or big time. The dominant theme for Miss Cosmo is oceanic or under-the-sea vibes, which is why Ahtisa and her design team opted for a Dyesebel theme.
Miss Cosmo is a newly created pageant organized by UNICORP and UNIMedia. The competition includes participants from 82 countries, and the Miss Cosmo winner will receive a substantial cash prize, amounting to around 6 million pesos (if I’m not mistaken). This is one of the biggest cash prizes ever given in an international pageant. The winner also gets a one-year residency in an official luxury apartment in Vietnam. The total amount of prizes contestants can win in the first year reaches up to 55 million pesos. The pageant will be broadcast on AXN Channel.
One of the major reasons why pageant fans are supporting Miss Cosmo is its legitimacy. One of the first panel judges, where Ahtisa will be competing, is none other than Paula Shugart, the former president of the Miss Universe Pageant.
Currently, Ahtisa is performing really well and has already won the first segment of Miss Cosmo, Cosmos People’s Choice Award.
A little-known fact about Ahtisa Manalo, aside from being active in beauty pageants, is that after winning Miss Pilipinas International, she also manages two cafes in Australia: Cafe Noun and Call Me Harris. The first cafe has a library concept, and the second one is designed like a park. She has also made significant contributions in expanding brands like Koomi, Oh My Greek, Zig Foods, and Salt and Ice.
It’s no surprise that Ahtisa is into business — her degree is in accountancy. She also manages stocks and is very business-minded. She studied at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
