It took me a while to decide who my bias in SB19 is because, believe me, it was so challenging; each member has unique and endearing qualities that are undeniable. The first time I heard the group sing a Tagalog acapella song, I knew something significant was going to happen, and despite the haters and doubters, SB19 continued to prove them wrong.

At first, I felt drawn towards Justin, then suddenly towards Ken. However, in the end, it was Pablo who captured my heart. I discovered that his real name is John Paulo Bagnas Nase, formerly known as Sejun. I prefer the name Pablo because it is very Pinoy and manly. Pablo is a Filipino rapper, dancer, songwriter, producer, and now the CEO of 1z Entertainment, a company built by SB19.

Before joining SB19, Pablo was a point guard in high school at their basketball university. He studied at the Polytechnic University and worked as a call center representative and data analyst in Makati for a time. However, the Lord had bigger plans for him, and he finally had the courage to pursue his dreams.

I surveyed A’Tins, asking for five words describing why they love Pablo. While Ken was a serious contender, standout words for Pablo were: leader, humble, God-fearing, mysterious, and gentleman.

Pablo’s qualities and attributes, such as his love for the Lord and the group, attention to details, and incredible visuals, make people fall for him. He is a great leader, under his guidance, SB19 blends well, and members have high respect for him.

It’s easy to see why A’Tins fall for Pablo. He may not be the first one you notice when introduced to SB19, but as you delve deeper, he becomes a super interesting person. He’s deep and a bit reserved, making him a fascinating conversationalist. While hanging out with Stell or Josh seems super fun, there’s something unique about Pablo. And there you have it — this is why Pablo is like the hotdog in the freezer, an essential part of life.
