First Pinoy Reality Show “West Covina” Coming Soon
Actress, singer, author, film producer, and stem cell advocate Lourdes Duque Baron is currently working on the pre-production of the first Pinoy Reality Show entitled “ West Covina”.
Currently slated with 5 episodes and focuses on the tag line“ Diversity is the new majority”.
West Covina, California is the home of thousands of Filipinos who began to settle in the area in the 1970s.
As of 2019, there were 4.2 million Filipinos or Americans with Filipino ancestry living in the U.S. With large communities, particularly in West Covina making it an ideal location for the first Pinoy reality show.
The cast of West Covina, will also welcome characters with a mix of cultures and ethnicity.
The show hopes to create a powerful impact on diversity and the importance of representation in the media. Adding in diverse voices and stories to impact society as a whole.
West Covina reality show is expected to be a game-changer.
Marvin Williams, the CEO of HQGE’s newly acquired subsidiary and operating company, and Big M Entertainment Pictures, Inc. will be joining this project.
Marvin Williams began his career at age 17 programming courses at Digital Corporation and by his mid-20s he had consulted for Ernst & Young, Andersen Consulting, and Disney Corporation on their $1.2B California Adventure Theme Park Expansion.
Lourdes Duque Baron is also in talks with HBO actor Alan Wong who is also known for co-hosting Asia’s Got Talent & stint as MTV VJ and American Israeli musician, record producer, and songwriter Hagay Mizrahi for their possible involvement in the West Covina Reality show.
Hagay Mizrahi was the house producer/ engineer at Pacifique Studios in North Hollywood for three years and recorded with many artists like Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Poo Bear, and more recently Lourdes Duque Baron for an upcoming album for 2022.
