So, I came across a vlog titled “Mercedes Vills Vlog,” where Ai is the one speaking. She discusses the estimated talent fee of SB19 for 2024. I happen to know someone who has worked with SB19 in the past, and they confirmed that before the pandemic or before the hit “Gento,” SB19 used to charge around 500k per appearance as a group. However, after the viral success of “Gento” and winning AAA awards, with numerous appearances and a certified global audience seen in the success of their concerts in America and ticket sales for the upcoming Japan tour, it’s not far-fetched to assume that each member is now charging 500,000 per appearance. This leads to a total talent fee of 2.5 million Philippine pesos, excluding additional costs such as talent make-up, costumes, talent coordinators’ fees, and a high-quality sound system that SB19 may request.

For those wishing to book SB19 for events, it’s important to consider these factors. In my experience negotiating talent fees for personalities, five years ago, Pia Wurtzbach quoted 1 million for a 4-hour hosting event, not including other needs. Ian Veneracion also quoted 500k for a fiesta appearance, which is within the normal pricing range. The artist has to pay their agent, and the demand for the artist determines the fee.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the talent fee for SB19 rises to 3 million or more for certain events in the future. However, this is on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the event or the relationship with SB19. Different brands like Pepsi, Dunkin Donuts, or Globe Telecom may suggest different talent fees, ranging from 6.5 million to 10 million per appearance. This is a conservative estimate, and it could be higher.

Despite the high earnings, artists like SB19 have significant costs, including taxes, staff salaries, production costs, clothing, and maintaining their global presence. As global stars, they regularly appear on various TV shows. It’s normal to expect a high talent fee considering their level of involvement.

It ultimately depends on the members if they decide to participate in pro bono charitable events. Hiring artists means aligning with their vision and influence, associating them with your brand or event. SB19’s clean branding appeals to both young and old audiences, making them a consideration for brands or events aiming for quick establishment and appeal. If SB19 continues to maintain its clean image and surrenders everything to God, there’s a possibility that its talent fee could range from 5 million to 50 million per appearance in the coming years. These are just price estimates, and without a direct transaction with SB19, there’s no sure way to know their actual talent fee.
