Hosted at the premier Quest Hotel & Conference Center — Cebu, this event was a celebration of the timeless elegance and cultural significance of Kaftan clothing, meticulously curated by the esteemed former Senator Nikki Coseteng. With each garment handpicked and delicately crafted, Kaftan One showcased the epitome of sophistication and style.

The ambiance at the Quest Hotel was infused with an air of anticipation and excitement as guests eagerly awaited the unveiling of these rare and exquisite pieces.

Among the distinguished attendees were Inner Wheel Past District Club President Evelyn Toledo-Dumdum, British Consul Tamsin Booth, Lorna Valera-Quisumbing, and Rosebud Rivilla-Sala, adding an aura of prestige to the occasion.

Behind the scenes, the mastermind orchestrating this sartorial spectacle was none other than Kingsley Benedict Sode Medalla, the visionary event organizer from Pizzazz Luxury.

With meticulous attention to detail and a passion for showcasing the best of fashion, Medalla ensured that Kaftan One would be an unforgettable experience for all who attended.

Architectural lighting designer Georgina “Mia” Protacio of Mpro Ventures added her touch of brilliance to the event, further enhancing its already stunning ambiance and contributing significantly to its resounding success.

As the trunk show commenced, guests were transported on a journey through time and culture, with each Kaftan piece telling its own unique story. From vibrant patterns inspired by exotic locales to intricate embroidery that spoke of artisanal craftsmanship, every garment was a testament to the rich tapestry of global fashion.

Kaftan One is mostly one-of-a-kind, artisanal, hand-produced fabrics turned into comfortable, elegant Kaftans to fit all sizes, personalities and usage. Our Kaftans are individually cut and sewn by seamstresses in their local communities. The fabrics are sourced from different countries and they are mostly hand-woven, hand-printed and naturally dyed. Bringing indigenous Philippine textiles into the limelight, Kaftan One by Nikki Coseteng weaves a narrative through meticulously crafted garments fashioned from handmade and naturally-dyed fabrics sourced directly from the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos, Abra, the Yakans of Basilan, and the Taosugs of Sulu.

One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to hear firsthand from Nikki Coseteng herself, as she shared her insights into the artistry and significance of Kaftan clothing.

Drawing upon her years of experience and expertise, Coseteng illuminated the audience with anecdotes about her personal connection to these timeless garments.
