The Walking Dead remains supreme. Even though many viewers left after the two lead characters died, especially Glenn, and the show started to decline when Rick Grimes exited in season 9, it doesn’t make it any less worthy. I haven’t found any zombie series that compares to the level of intensity that this show gave. Imagine a scenario where there are no more rules in society, it’s survival of the fittest, no need to pay for parking, no more going to work and facing traffic, suddenly no internet, and people return to reading. The apocalypse begins. How will you survive? How will humanity rebuild? Which philosophy in life will win? What is human nature? This show really makes you think. I don’t like horror films because they don’t make you think much, but zombie films need to be written with logic and study in mind, a lot of psychology, and you discover a lot about human nature, which I like.

They also have the best villains, like Negan. I like it partly because it feels like a video game where they try to create settlements and find a way to survive. You never know who will become villains and who will become heroes. The constant survival mode in the show is what makes it…
