The reason why this comeback beat is so powerful is because it’s a mixture of the strength of Pinoy pop — crafted together with international hitmakers Asher and Terry Zhong. The official release of Moonlight is on May 3, and this will be SB19’s first single since the 2023 smash hit Gento.
SB19 only showed snippets, of some of the dance steps, but it’s already strong, and all the while, this song is making waves while they are on their world tour in Dubai and Japan respectively, which are both doing well, before coming back home on May 18 and 19 for the finale at the Araneta Coliseum. The steps, thanks to the genius choreographers, are definitely going to be a dance craze, very contemporary. At first, you might feel like a frog when you dance it, but as you get into the beat, it’s super enjoyable. And that’s what artistry is all about, that’s what Pinoy artists are all about — versatile.
