Diabetes is so massive, that it is affecting 537 million people around the world and the number continues to grow.

A diabetic’s immune system attacks and destroys the beta cells in the pancreas that is responsible for creating insulin. These cells regulate glucose levels in the blood that the body requires to build and sustain energy. Blood sugar will continue to rise without insulin, this is the reason why Type 1 diabetics are required to inject insulin and be dependent on it for the rest of their lives. Not the most ideal scenario.

Due to the high demand for a cure in the last 20 years, doctors and medical researchers began focusing on advancements in stem cell research therapies. Due to the fact that regenerative therapy using stem cells has the most potential in creating new methods of curing diabetes. It is projected to create new insulin-making cells which are vital to healing Type 1 diabetes.

There are numerous clinical trials that are being conducted to determine the soundness of this plan. And much clinical research is now pointing in a positive direction. One Biotech company Vertex Pharmaceuticals recently conducted a clinical trial with 17 participants who have Type 1 diabetes.

Utilizing research from the Melton Lab, Vertex Pharmaceuticals has developed VX-880, an investigational stem cell-derived, fully differentiated pancreatic islet cell replacement therapy for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Included in this trial is a new insulin-making cell harvested from stem cells. The first diabetic patient who tried the potential cure is Brian Shelton, and he has shown impressive results. After just 150 days, Shelton was able to reduce the amount of insulin he needs to inject by 92%.

These impressive results, it has inspired countless biotech and pharmaceutical companies to study the cure of diabetes using stem cells including Novo Nordisk, one of the biggest insulin manufacturers in the world.

Stem Cell Scientists at the Novo Nordisk Stem Cell R& D unit are already at the forefront of studying and driving medical advancements using stem cells for diabetes and other diseases.

What began as a search to differentiate pluripotent stem cells into insulin-producing beta cells for the treatment of type 1 diabetes, has grown into a full mission to create stem-cell-based treatments that can now be used to replace damaged cells in patients.

There are various world-class clinics, surgeons, and healthcare professionals who are dedicating their lives and research work towards finding out the full potential of stem cells.

Feeling Good At Any Age The One Stop Rejuvenation Center ( FGAAA) in West Covina, California is one of the leading stem cell therapy clinics in the world that offer premium quality products and the latest available stem cell treatments for a variety of health conditions like chronic heart failure, chronic kidney disease, and type 1 diabetes, among others.

Stem Cell Advocates

When Selma Blair first came out in the public to speak about her MS diagnosis back in 2018, it seems as though there is no cure in sight.

But with the help of medical experts, the actress was able to pursue an aggressive course of chemotherapy. But it was stem cell therapy that allowed her to experience immense progress. She was given an advanced cure in the form of a stem cell transplant that allowed her immune system to restart.

Stem Cell therapy also led to the incremental improvements that allow Lourdes Duque Baron and Michael York to continue living with amazing energy and boosted immune systems.

Receivers of billions of stem cells both attest to the truth of this rejuvenating and immensely powerful treatment.

Michael York a highly respected A-list actor became an advocate for stem cells after receiving treatment for his Amyloidosis and Multiple Myeloma.
