One of the most decorated films “ Tombstone Pillow is now available on Amazon USA.
Set in the Manila North Cemetery, one of the toughest places on earth to be, it tells the story of a 9 year old girl who gives the Philippines wealthiest widow a tour of a graveyard that thousands of people call home, where she discovers what real riches are.
Lead actress Lourdes Duque Baron came all the way from California just for the Philippine shoot. Bringing along Tunisian actor Akram Yesmine Lahmandi and Dream Team Directors Daniel Lir and Bayou Bennet together with screenplay writer Fraser Scott.
Tombstone Pillow depicts many hard to watch, yet realistic, scenes of poverty including children who sleep on top of tombstones and mausoleums, and families living in extreme poverty.
The film has received global attention and was shown in various international film festivals including Russia, Venice, UK, Japan, Amsterdam, Mumbai, Calcutta and New York.
The award-winning short film shows how films can become a great medium or platform for spreading vital messages about global poverty. The goal was to raise awareness for pertinent social issues.
Amazon Prime one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world has added the short film and made it available on Amazon Prime UK and Amazon Prime US.

Only recently the Queen Palm International Short Film Festival, a yearly film, music and screenwriting competition and Awards Show in Palm Springs, California recognized Tombstone Pillow as an Official Crown Selection for its 4th Quarter Season. Official finalists will be given a screening time and a chance to compete for the Queen Supreme Trophy and gain the right to use the IMDb title.
